SUBWAY BRINGS ‘FRESH FORWARD’ WITH NEW RESTAURANT DESIGN, CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE

On July 17th, Subway – “the world’s largest restaurant chain – announced sweeping changes to the layout, design and aesthetic of its restaurants in an effort to “transform” the customer experience. In addition, Subway has also announced new menu items, self-order kiosks, a mobile app, complimentary Wi-Fi, USB charging stations and delivery services available to customers. Subway has chosen twelve “pilot” locations across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom where these design updates have already been implemented. According to the press release, customers will be able to expect new amenities and features, bright colors, curated music and more.
